History of DWOM

Dominion World Outreach Ministries a multi-racial, non-denominational ministry was established as a catalyst for the spiritual revolution that is at work in Eastern Arkansas and spreading across the entire world.  Committed to upholding Kingdom Principles, the ministry has become one of the fastest growing churches in the South.

The journey began when God ministered to the spirit of His chosen vessel in the person of Sharon R. Nesbitt.  As she flowed in the office of Evangelist, teaching and preaching the uncompromising Word of God with miracles, signs, and wonders following; God arrested her attention and illuminated His Words  “…to whom much is given, much will be required”.  Thus in January 2005, Evangelist Nesbitt answered the Pastoral call and birthed Dominion World Outreach Ministries, the church “where the Word reigns, and the Spirit lives!”

In February 2005, four preliminary services were held each Friday night at the Holiday Inn Hotel in West Memphis, Arkansas, with an aim to evangelize and win souls for the Kingdom.  The response was overwhelming; and under the unction of the Holy Spirit, the ministry officially began Sunday services in March 2005.  Armed with only 8 members and supernatural faith, Pastor Nesbitt and those members remained steadfast in prayer and proclaimed that souls would come from the east, west, north and south.  As a result, little by little, God added to the membership.

In April 2005, God opened the door for the ministry to relocate to 105 E. Bond Avenue, also in West Memphis.  However, in January 2006, God made provision for the ministry to purchase a new facility located at 3700 Interstate 55 North in Marion, Arkansas.  At the time of purchase, the interior was one large open space.  Therefore, Pastor Nesbitt and members indulged
countless hours as they themselves developed and constructed an interior functional for ministry.   In January 2007,  the ministry purchased the additional land for parking.   The miracle of these endeavors is that the acquisitions, purchases and the remodeling of the facility were all done without the aid of financial institutions.

Today, Dominion World Outreach Ministries has grown from 8 members to over 700 since March 2005.  On April 18, 2010, Dominion World Outreach Ministries celebrated it’s five year anniversary with the launch of the first 8:00 a.m. worship service to accommodate the rapid growth of the ministry.  Inarguably, this ministry stands as a testament to Psalm 98:1 “Oh sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things . . .”
